“You Just Failed An Exam, You Didn’t Fail In Life”-Kofi Kinaata Consoles Students Who Failed WASSCE

Martin King Arthur, better known as Kofi Kinaata, a Ghanaian highlife singer and rapper, has composed some encouraging words for students who apparently failed the recently ended West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), telling they only failed an exam and not life.

It was previously reported that approximately half of the students who attempted the WASSCE failed the two core subjects required for university entry, Mathematics and English.

According to some of the figures, only 54.11 % of the 446,352 participants scored mathematics (A1 to C6) and 54.08 % passed English. Moreover, the educational organization’s data shows that candidates in grades A1 to C6 in Integrated Science and Social Studies performed much better this year than in 2021.

In reaction, Kofi Kinaata comforted students who failed some of their examination papers, emphasizing that they had only failed an examination but not failed in life.

Kinaata went on Twitter to add, “To all those who failed in WASSCE, remember that you simply failed in a test, you didn’t fail in life.” Just be aware.
