‘We have evidence to prosecute former PPA CEO’ – Special Prosecutor

Kissi Agyebeng, the Special Prosecutor, claims that his office has enough evidence to successfully charge Adjenim Boateng Adjei, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA).

He believes they have a strong case that will result in Mr. Adjei and his brother-in-law, Francis Kwaku Arhin, being sentenced to prison for corruption.

“I am convinced that we have sufficient evidence to prosecute the defendants for procurement violations.” The former PPA Chief Executive and his brother-in-law are the defendants… Their cries were heard. “We’ll be back in a month to comply with the court proceedings since they pleaded not guilty and the court has issued orders on how the trial will continue,” he said.

Kissi Agyebeng emphasized that the Special Prosecutor’s Office will continue to fight to guarantee that corruption in Ghana is kept to a bare minimum.
