Takoradi: 3 in police custody for faking kidnapping incident

Three individuals who purportedly faked a capturing episode in Takoradi in the Western Region last Friday have been captured by the police.

The suspects are in guardianship at the Takoradi Divisional Police Command.

They have been named as, Joana Krah, matured 29; Susana Awortwe, matured 27 and Francis Eshun, matured 27.

They supposedly faked a seize and requested a payoff of GH¢ 5,000

A police proclamation dated Monday October 25, 2021, gave by the Acting Director General of Public Affairs, ACP Mr Kwesi Ofori said reports showed that speculate Joana Krah schemed with the other two suspects,

Susan Awortwe and Francis Eshun, to fake her hijacking on Friday, October 22, 2021, after which a call was put to her embraced father popular for the

recover.

At the point when Joana became mindful that her embraced father had answered to the Police and a broad hunt had initiated to discover her, she displayed at the Takoradi Central Police Station, Saturday, October 23, to admit of just messing with her took on father that she was grabbed.

Further Police examinations prompted the capture of suspects, Susan Awortwe and Francis Eshun for their complicity.
