Sarkodie is one of Ghana’s most important hip-hop artists, and he was the first to win a BET Award for Best International Act, making history. The international rapper has received a total of 107 honors, including 25 Ghana Music Awards.
Given his success in the entertainment world, the 33-year-old Ghanaian is gearing up for the release of his seventh studio album, No Pressure, on Friday, July 30.
This will be Sarkodie’s first project since his Black Love album in 2019.
Vic Mensa, Mog Music, and Wale are among the guests on Sarkodie’s critically lauded 16-track CD. No Pressure is, so far, one of Sarkodie’s best ventures, with each album seeming to improve both lyrically and sonically.
After the jump, listen to his recent cinematic effort and first single off the next album, “Coachella,” which features Kwesi Arthur.
