According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain is already prepared to cancel the contract of summer acquisition Sergio Ramos.
The experienced Spanish center-back joined PSG on a free transfer from Real Madrid in the summer, but he’s had a rough start to life in Paris owing to a calf injury.
Sergio Ramos has yet to play for PSG due to this injury, and it appears that there are severe uncertainties about when he will be able to return.
According to Le Parisien, this has caused PSG to doubt if signing Ramos was a mistake, and they may be willing to terminate his contract before he makes a single appearance for the club.
This would be a curious twist in Ramos’ great playing career, with the 35-year-old looking like an enticing addition for the Ligue 1 giants alongside Lionel Messi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi, and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Real Madrid supporters were sad when Ramos departed, but it appears that the choice was correct, since his fitness appears to be a severe concern at the time.
It will be intriguing to see what comes of these rumors, as well as what Sergio Ramos does next if PSG does really let him leave.
