Mahama casts ballot in Bole constituency

The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama has cast his vote in the  Bole constituency of the Savannah Region.

Mr. Mahama was mobbed by constituents in Bole when he showed up to cast his vote.

Addressing electorates after voting, Mr. Mahama admitted that although the general voting process had so far been smooth, a few lapses had been recorded.
“There was no queue and that is very common in Bole. I have voted here since 1992. I have voted both presidential and parliamentary under three minutes. It is too early to make an assessment but there are a few lapses.

I registered with one of my security personnel, but his name cannot be found . We will see the presiding officer to check this lapse.

The former President also advised Ghanaians to vote smoothly and desist from violence.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has also cast his vote in his home region, Eastern Region.

John Mahama who served as President from 2012 was defeated by Nana Akufo-Addo. Mahama has promised to form over 1,000,000 jobs when he’s voted into power in 2020.

He has also pledged to legalize the commercial motorcycle business also noted as okada if he wins the polls.
