According to Bild, FC St. Pauli star Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has rejected offers from Mainz, Stuttgart, and Werder Bremen in order to join Freiburg.

Freiburg have accepted personal terms with the 26-year-old, according to Kicker, and negotiations between the two teams are now begun.
Kyereh, who has also been associated with Mainz, Stuttgart, and Werder Bremen, is estimated to be valued at roughly €4.5 million by St. Pauli.
Werder, on the other hand, has admitted that the player will not be joining them at the Weserstadion.
“We good talks and a really good exchange. I don’t think the decision was that easy for him either. In the end, he decided to go another way, which is really a shame. But sometimes that’s just the way it is in football,” Werder head of first team football and scouting Clemens Fritz Fritz told reporters on Sunday.

In 32 games during the 2021/22 season, Kyereh scored 13 goals and added 11 assists.
