Donny van de Beek not returning to Ajax claims Fabrizio Romano

Donny van de Beek is unlikely to return to Ajax in the January transfer window, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Netherlands international has had a rough time at Manchester United, with speculation regarding his future swirling.

It should come as no surprise that Van de Beek has not played in any of United’s last five matches, and it would be even more surprising if he were to stay at the club once the winter transfer window closes.

During his first season at the club, the Dutch midfielder made numerous appearances off the bench in an attempt to force his way into the manager’s plans, but he was never successful. Van de Beek’s mission at United currently appears to be impossible.

Ajax and Manchester United are not in talks for Van de Beek, according to Romano on Twitter.

There is nothing going on between Ajax and Manchester United for Donny van de Beek,” Romano tweeted.

Rumours about a potential comeback in January are considered ‘fake’ by all parties involved as things stand now.

The star could leave in January, according to the Italian journalist.
